Hilarious moment at the US National Tennis Center (NY) where ESPN’s Mike Greenberg hit partner Chris Evert in the rear end with a return of serve. Both Greenberg and Evert were trying to qualify for a mixed dubs wild card to the US Open (which Evert won 6 times in her prime). The team lost to Bea Beilik and Darrin Cohen, both local teaching pros. Image:Jennifer Pottheiser

The fainting footage of Anna Chakvetadze. People if you feel dizzy out there, stop playing! So glad she is going to be ok.

We wish Anna Chakvetadze a speedy recovery from the illness that caused her to withdraw from Doha. Such scary on court footage of Anna fainting.
Chakvetadze wore Fila’s  Heritage Collection which should be going on sale any time now. It’s part of their winter group but hey, I never really tire of the red, white and blue. Take a look at the separates while you are looking around.

your blog is great, but i'm pretty sure that tennis player in your last post about picture from Mike Powell’s new book “A Game to Love.” is not a Monfils, but Gianni Mina from France. :)

You are right! Thanks for noting the error. I’ve made the correction.
